SMS Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the SMS text messaging program (the "Program") operated by NAN Education LLC, doing business as National Academy of Nutritionology ("NAN", "we", "us"). By opting in to the Program you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Program description

NAN Education LLC is an online education provider. Through the Program we send text messages to students and applicants who have opted in, including: enrollment confirmations, class schedule updates, lesson and webinar reminders, account notifications, and occasional offers for our courses.

2. How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number on the web form at nan.education/sms-consent and checking the SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase. After opting in you will receive a confirmation message.

3. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies depending on your enrollment and activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. NAN does not charge for SMS messages.

4. How to opt out

You can cancel the Program at any time. Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages. To rejoin, reply START or sign up again at nan.education/sms-consent.

6. Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.

7. Eligibility and your number

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or deactivate your number, please reply STOP from the old number or contact us so we can remove it.

8. Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued participation in the Program after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
